Medal Highlights:

• Obverse: Depicts the shield of Chiwoo Cheonwang, the gwi-myeon-wa, with plum blossoms decorating the background. Plum announces the spring by blooming alone in early spring and brings the birth of life.
• Reverse: Features Princess Bari who conducts a ceremony to comfort souls of the dead as they lead into hell.

Princess Bari
The traditional tales of the Korean Goddesses have been passed on orally and contain life, feelings and customs. KOMSCO introduces Princess Bari as first in the series. Prince Bari embarks on a journey to the underworld to find medicine in order to save her parents. On the way, she saved those who were suffering and acquired medicine for saving her parents by practicing good deeds. Therefore, she was designated a god given position by the king and served by all gods. Today, Princess Bari is turned into a magician who drives out all evil spirits and prays for good luck as a shaman.
