The front face (obverse) of the Year of the Rat displays two rats exploring and sniffing about, with the Chinese symbol for rat and size noted. On the rim of the round, you can find the round’s purity with “ One Ounce ” and “.999 Copper”. “Golden State Mint” at the bottom.

On the reverse of the Year of the Rat Round there is an attractive wheel design that depicts all twelve animals, along with their Chinese symbol, that is represented in the Chinese zodiac; the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig.
