Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident… were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

Coin Highlights:

• Each coin contains 1 oz of .999 fine Silver in a Proof finish. This coin was struck by BH Meyer in Germany, and utilized their SmartMinting technology to create incredible relief on the coin.
• Each coin comes complete with an impressive rigid paper box printed in full color featuring clear top display, foil stamping, embossed surfaces and spot varnished elements. Additionally, the numbered certificate of authenticity is printed directly on the collector's box.
• Limited mintage of only 5,000 coins, making them very collectible for both coin collectors as well as Harry Potter fans. This coin will be the first in a series of coins for this franchise.
• Obverse: Displays the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the legal tender value of Cook Islands “5 Dollars”.
• Reverse: The design pays tribute to the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA), which is the magical body in charge of governing the wizarding population in the United States. This high relief coin looks just like the MACUSA seal as featured in the new movie.

The Magical Congress of the United States of America, known to American witches and wizards by the abbreviation MACUSA (commonly pronounced as: Mah-cooz-ah) was first created in 1693 and is the magical body in charge of governing the wizarding population of the USA.

MACUSA was modeled on the Wizards’ Council of Great Britain, which predated the Ministry of Magic. Representatives from magical communities all over North America were elected to MACUSA to create laws that both policed and protected American wizardkind.

As with most other magical governing bodies, the Department of Magical Law Enforcement is the largest department in MACUSA.
Unlike most Western countries, there is no cooperation between the No-Maj government and MACUSA.
