The most famous example of Isis upholding her protectorate role was when Seth (the jealous brother) dismembered Osiris and scattered him all over Egypt. Due to her sacrifice and immense dedication to retrieving her husband, the other ancient gods were impressed enough to revive Osiris once Isis had collected all of his body parts.

While her powers and scope of influence in Egyptian religion evolved over time, Isis was known as a goddess of protection at her core. First starting as a secondary figure to Osiris, Isis gradually became the Queen of the Universe and Cosmic Order after thousands of years.
