The United Snakes of America Series pulls back the veil on the federal government of the United States. Uncle Sam comes across as a friend and protector, but in reality, our elected officials are knee-deep in deception, lies, and scandals that destroy the trust of the American people.

In the second design of the series, the Enemy Unknown is a twist on Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ 1907 depiction of Liberty approved by President Theodore Roosevelt. During President Theodore Roosevelt’s administration (1901-1909), there were several notable scandals that unfolded. However, it’s important to note that many of these scandals did not directly implicate Roosevelt himself, though the scandals did involve members of his administration.

In the obverse design of the 1 oz Enemy Unknown Silver Round, the designers feature a decaying Liberty known as the Enemy Unknown. The skeletal figure is draped in ragged, ripped clothes as she strides forward with a dagger in her right hand as vultures rise from a dead tree in the background.

For the reverse design of Enemy Unknown Silver Rounds, you will find the image of the common design for the series. A deadly twist on the US heraldic eagle, this seal features the US national shield supported by a large snake with the eagle’s wings replaced by several small snakes.
