Auf der Rückseite ist das Staatswappen von Somalia mit Angabe der Jahreszahl und des Nennwertes angegeben.Oberhalb des Wappens steht die Umschrift Somalia Republic, während mittig das Prägejahr gekennzeichnet ist. Unten findet sich der Nennwert der Münze: 1000 Schillings
